NOT ACCEPTING NEW ATHLETES

We regret to inform you that we are unable to accept any new track athletes at this time. We have reached our maximum capacity for the coach-to-athlete ratio, which is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of all our athletes. Maintaining an optimal environment for training and competition is our top priority.

If you are a parent or athlete interested in joining our program, we encourage you to reach out and express your interest. Your name will be added to a waitlist, and we will contact you as soon as an opening becomes available. Thank you for your understanding and support!

HOW FAST? TOO FAST!!!

The Providence Cobras is an organization that is rooted in volunteerism and community support.

“Our coaching staff are all caring volunteers who are committed to the development of young athletes. The Providence Cobras are truly a family organization that is inclusive of young athletes from across the state of Rhode Island. We welcome families from all walks of life to join and our policy is that regardless of one's financial situation, every athlete who wants to participate will have a home with the Cobras.”

Practices. Building character—and confidence.

The club practices Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Hope High School in Providence during outdoor season and at Moses Brown School during indoor season. Practices are held at 6:00pm.

***Indoor Season days are subject to change due to Moses Brown Athletic Program schedule***

No practices are mandatory; some athletes attend practice everyday, while some attend as many as their schedule allow. All members while at practice are expected to respect the time of our volunteer coaches and must participate and listen to instructions at all times.

“It started out originally in Providence… that’s how we started the program, to service those kids and do something to the sport of track and field because there wasn’t anything like that being offered. There was no youth program in the city of Providence and that’s how the Cobras developed.”
